Looking to discover a sport that is as fun as it is athletic? ESi Métabief offers biathlon sessions for ages 8 and up, open to both children and adults. Whether with family, friends, or colleagues, this activity combines the thrill of cross-country skiing with the precision of target shooting.

Two formats allow you to experience biathlon your way. Laser biathlon offers an accessible and fun introduction. With this option, participants learn the basics of shooting and move through exercises and challenges tailored to the group’s skill level. Laser rifles use no projectiles, making the activity perfect for a family-friendly setting.

Biathlon Pro: A taste of the real competition experience

For those looking to take it a step further, the Biathlon PRO option offers an introduction to competitive-style shooting using a .22 Long Rifle, aiming at mechanical targets set 50 meters away. This session takes place under professional supervision designed for this type of shooting, allowing you to experience the true feel of competitive biathlon.

Group or private lessons: Tailor-made formats

Biathlon sessions are available as group or private lessons, accommodating mixed groups of children and adults. Custom-made formats can also be arranged for corporate groups, team-building events, birthdays, or gatherings with friends.

Biathlon sessions are scheduled based on the availability of ESi Métabief and the instructor, as well as the conditions required for the activity. Timings may be adjusted depending on the chosen format and the composition of the group.

Biathlon combines cross-country skiing and shooting, so you need to wear clothing suitable for Nordic activities. Be sure to bring warm, breathable clothing, gloves or mittens, a hat, and sunglasses or goggles.

Equipment needed for the biathlon activity in Métabief

Cross-country ski equipment is not included in the package. Please bring your own skis, boots, and poles suitable for the activity, or check on rental options in Métabief.

For the shooting portion, the specific equipment depends on the chosen package. The gear required for laser biathlon or PRO biathlon is provided and managed by the school as part of the session.
