About the Snow Garden / Esi Park

Discover everything that will make your child’s ski lesson a success!

We accept children aged 3 and over in group lessons.

Children under the age of 3 may only be accepted for private lessons, provided that the child shows a genuine desire to ski and that the initiative comes from the child themselves.

The criteria for earning each level and the skills required can be found on our Medals page. Feel free to ask your ski school.

Your child will need ski clothing, a helmet, ski equipment (no poles), a ski mask and/or sunglasses, disposable tissues, and a small snack in their pocket.

Backpacks are not allowed in the kindergarten area.

Gloves are compulsory (no woollen gloves), even in good weather, and a neck warmer is strongly recommended.

Your child needs a ski outfit, a helmet, ski equipment (no poles), goggles and/or sunglasses, sunscreen, disposable tissues, and a snack in their pocket.

As the ski kindergarten is located on private grounds belonging to the ski school, no ski lift pass is required.

Once your child has reached a level that allows them to ski on the slopes, the instructor will let you know at the end of the lesson the day before, so that you can purchase a lift pass for the remainder of the week.

Don’t worry! Our instructors are professionals and are used to handling these situations. We therefore recommend that you:

  • Leave your child with the instructor at the meeting point and avoid staying with them for too long.
  • Avoid being seen by your child once the lesson has started.
  • Avoid contact with your child until the end of the lesson.

Our instructors have all their students’ phone numbers saved on their phones. However, please make sure you provide the office with the phone number of the person accompanying your child to the lesson, rather than the phone number of the person who made the booking.
