Service
ESi Métabief offers group and private Nordic skiing lessons, allowing you to discover various Nordic disciplines or refine your technique. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced skier, instruction is tailored to your skill level, physical condition, and goals.
Improve your skating or classic Nordic skiing
Sessions focus on the two main cross-country skiing techniques: classic and skating. Younger skiers and beginners can also discover Nordic skiing through fun-filled courses designed to teach the fundamentals while enjoying the glide.
Want to take it further?
For those looking to go a step further, instructors can also offer an introduction to ski jumping upon request. More experienced skiers can benefit from specialized coaching to improve their technique or prepare for a sporting challenge, such as the Transjurassienne.
Private or group Nordic skiing lessons
In group lessons, the group dynamic fosters interaction and motivation. In private lessons, the instructor can devote more time to your specific needs and target the exact technical areas that require work.
Schedules
Nordic skiing lessons are offered based on time slots available through ESi Métabief. Session times and durations may vary depending on the chosen package, the participants’ skill level, and the specific discipline.
For steady progress or preparation for a specific goal, lessons can be organized as a series of sessions. Contact the school to check availability and select the format best suited to your needs.

Ski pass and equipement
Plan to wear clothing suitable for Nordic skiing warm, breathable, and allowing for freedom of movement. Also, remember to bring gloves or mittens, a hat or headband, and sunglasses or goggles to protect yourself from the cold and UV rays.
Equipment needed for group or private Nordic ski lessons
Your equipment must be suited to the specific technique you are practicing: cross-country skis, boots, and poles designed for either the classic or skating style. For beginners, choosing the right equipment is particularly important to make the initial learning process easier. Check with ESi Métabief regarding equipment rental or provision.
